Coherent Living is a philosophy of whole-system health, exploring the relationships between nervous system regulation, embodiment, somatic healing, yoga philosophy, neuroscience, food as medicine, and conscious living.

I'm Eugénie Benoit — a yoga teacher and somatic healing practitioner. But that's not where I started. I started as someone learning to live inside a body that had stopped feeling safe.

A diagnosis of Crohn’s disease became the turning point that reshaped everything — how I understood my body, my nervous system, my emotions, my relationship with food, stress, rest, and my own inner life. The path toward remission asked more of me than symptom management. It asked me to listen, to slow down, to learn the language of the body, and to understand how deeply the nervous system, beliefs, environment, and daily practices shape health, healing, resilience, and vitality.

That search led me to yoga, to somatic healing, to neuroscience, to the gut-brain connection, to mindfulness, and to the quiet, cumulative power of daily practice. Over time, what began as personal healing became a body of study and a practice I now share with others — as a yoga teacher, somatic healing practitioner, educator, and writer.

Coherent Living is the space where I bring all of this together: lived experience, ongoing study, and the bridges between modern science and embodied wisdom.
